About us
Dehkada Organization for Humanitarian Aid (DOHA) is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political humanitarian organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities across Afghanistan. Founded with a vision of compassion, resilience, and dignity, DOHA works tirelessly to respond to urgent needs, restore hope, and empower individuals to rebuild their lives.
With the increasing social, economic, and environmental challenges in Afghanistan, DOHA emerged to fill critical gaps in humanitarian relief, development support, and community resilience. Our goal is not only to respond to crises but to actively participate in rebuilding communities and enabling sustainable change.
At Dehkada Organization for Humanitarian Aid (DOHA), our services are designed to address both immediate humanitarian needs and long-term development challenges faced by vulnerable communities across Afghanistan. We provide emergency assistance to families affected by conflict, natural disasters, displacement, and poverty—offering food packages, clean drinking water, essential non-food items, and urgent medical support. In the health sector, we work to improve access to basic healthcare services, maternal and child health, and community health education through mobile clinics and outreach programs. Our education initiatives aim to reduce illiteracy and empower future generations by supporting access to quality education, school supplies, and literacy programs for both children and adults. We also focus on livelihood and economic empowerment by providing vocational training, small business support, and income-generating opportunities to help families build self-reliance and long-term stability. Our WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) services ensure access to safe drinking water, improved sanitation facilities, and hygiene awareness to reduce waterborne diseases. In addition, DOHA works to protect and uplift women and children by offering psychosocial support, gender-based violence prevention, and child protection services. We also provide shelter and housing assistance for displaced families and those living in unsafe conditions. Each of our services is guided by the principles of humanity, impartiality, and sustainability, ensuring that our efforts bring not only relief but also dignity, hope, and opportunity to the people we serve.
